Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, frutiy malt, dark malt, roasted - toasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20170513]

330mL bottle, pours black with a reddish tinge and a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, light oats, and a tiny hint of caramel. Flavour is quite hearty, with lots of oats, toasted malt, caramel, and bready malt. Hearty and well-rounded. Very good.

Dark brown. Not much head. There's some fudgey, chocolatey aroma, with a light alcohol. Sweet, lots of chocolate, with a mellow fudgey note. Good balance, and lots of strength. Powerful alcohol, rich chocolate, sugary malts. Not a whole lot of hop, but pretty complex.

330ml bottle from Elizabeth Station at Alex's. BB 09-2022. Pours a dark brown with a weak dark beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee and some chocolate and leather notes. Taste is oily, moderately to high sweet, with some hints of vanilla. Very nice, one of the best regular Imperial Stouts I've had recently.

12oz bottle pours a muddy brown with some cloudy, beige head. Nose has malt, bread, marzipan, chocolate. Flavor is malt, chocolate, marzipan, bread, brown sugar. Finishes malty and off dry.

szczupaczu (296) - Rurzyca, POLAND - JAN 12, 2018
Barwa, piana i w ogóle wygląd klasa. Aromat przepiękny - czekolada, czekolada, kawa i lekkie likierowe nuty. Wyśmienicie. Pierwszy łyk obłędny - gdyby odczucia się utrzymały, byłoby wybornie. A tak, uprzedzając fakty, tylko bardzo dobrze. Piwo gładkie, wręcz kremowe. Czekolada, lekka paloność kawowa i goryczka, trochę likieru i ... no właśnie - jakieś apteczno-syropowe zaczepki.

ABUSEDGOAT (2965) - California, USA - JAN 9, 2018
Black pour with a tan head. Aroma is milk chocolate, sugar, coffee, light roast, caramel, a touch of darker fruit. Medium to full body, alcohol hidden very well, chocolate and sugar flavors dominate. Would not have guessed to be anything but American, this is one of the best non barrel aged imperials I've had.

solidfunk (9821) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JAN 7, 2018
Too much whiskey here and aomw burnt peat like drinking after your farm caught fire. Black pour with good head and lacing. Bitter finish. Bottle.

CraftBeerNick (3111) - London Town, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 7, 2018
Bottle at home, from Malt Attacks, 7th January 18. Pours black with little carbonation or head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, liquorice. Taste is roasted malts and roasted coffee beans, dry and bitter, some sweetness. This is a really classy Imperial Stout, not overly sweet and smooth as silk. Great.
