Very dark brown with foamy head. Aroma is dominated by strawberry syrup. Flavour is similarly strong but there's also some elements of dark roasted bitter malts. Overall a bit too much strawberry.

Tap@Beavertown Extravaganza 2017, London - black pour with a tan head. Roasted and sweet malty with rich chocolate and some strawberry notes coming through, sweet caramel, hoppy backing, light charred burnt malty accents, touch of vanilla into the close.

Keg at The Bat. Amber and foam all over, keg does not want to co-operate. Nose is strawberries, caramel malts. Tastes kinda artificial strawberries, caramel, bitter maltiness.

Strawberries, dark, roasted malts, charcoal, dark coffee. Hazy, very dark brown, massive, frothy, beige head. Light bitter. More bitter, dark malts, charcoal, more strawberries, burnt toast, burnt strawberry tartlet, lively carbonation, full bodied. Not great, nice strawberry, but then overpowering burnt malts. Bottle from Independent Spirit, Bath.

UPDATED: OCT 14, 2017 Sehr fruchtiger Geruch. Zu Beginn erstmal trocken und dunkel malzig, die Erdbeer Noten sind natürlich aber relativ mild. Spritzig, rund. 10/10/9/9//10

Bottle @ home. Appearance: A dark red glare coming through a dark brown body, with a light brown medium sized head. Aroma: vanilla, strawberries, milk chocolate. A bit artificial. Taste: Sweetish vanilla and (artificial) strawberries, hallway the milkchocolate kicks in and finishing with strawberries, light sour, quite sweet and some malts. Medium body, light creamy texture, soft carbonation. Interrestingand alto the combination is a bit too sweet and artificial, it is better as the 1 o2 beers I had earlier with the combinations of Strawberries and chocolate.

Tap @Het Arendsnest, together with BeerGangsta. Pitch black with a ruby hue, small foamy tan head; aroma dark malt, strawberries, licorice, caramel, cocoa; taste medium sweet and bitter, roasty, fruity, milk chocolate; sweetbitter finish, strawberries till the end; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; surprisingly good beer, well-balanced, not too sweet and with a nice bitter twist.

B330mL bottle from International Beer Collector. BB 12/18 Black-ish body, holds a tan head. Candied strawberry aroma - slightly medicinal fake, not much underlying beer to detect. Full-ish body, slightly creamy, slightly dry, carbonation slight. Really hard to look past the medicinal/cough syrup strawberry character going on here, touch of chocolate malt, has a sort of astringent bitterness. Not quite right.
