In the nose and the first seconds of the drink very sweet, chemical strawberries. Then the taste turns 180 degrees to schocolate bitter, creamy. Didn’t like the chemical sweetness and the fact that it didn’t drink smooth. Bootlegger007 (245) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 23, 2017
Well this is a first! Strawberry Stout! Interesting to say the least, aroma is full of strawberry and chocolate with the flavour to match, poured black with a lively head, full bodied creamy mouthfeel, sweet. vincentvega72 (998) - Terneuzen, NETHERLANDS - JUN 2, 2017
Mooie balans. Lichte carbonatie. Prima bier met een twist. 330ml bottle BB Jan 2019. Dark and opaque with beautiful frothy tan head that persists. Inviting aromas of strawberries & cream, chocolate and some other tropical fruity notes. The taste has definite strawberry and cream notes, although less dominant than in the aroma, chocolate, some citrus as well. Initially sweet, medium to full bodied, firm (and a little harsh) bitterness. Some really great flavours in there but would’ve benefited from a smoother bitterness to support, really impressed with the strawberry. ardeo (648) - Flémalle, BELGIUM - MAY 23, 2017
Bouteille 33. Peacefull Dutch !

4oz pour at Rustico Ballston. Poured a dark cola color with a small off-white head. Aroma was strawberries. Lot of strawberries. Strawberry chocolate black forest cake. Flavor is about the same. Ripe strawberries. Strawberry ice cream. Wow. GenDV138 (8054) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - MAY 10, 2017
4 oz pour on draft at Rustico Ballston. Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of strawberry cream, artificially flavored strawberry ice cream, dark chocolate, light caramel. Tastes of dark chocolate, strawberry cream, artificially flavored strawberry ice cream, slightly bitter roast. Medium body with a dry finish. Strawberry aroma/flavor seems more artificial than natural. erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - MAY 4, 2017
Super creamy appearance, nice. A sweet aromatic brew but also enough dark toasted malts to balance. Very nice and quite some complexity actually much more than expected at this abv. Very full taste too, dense and creamy. Bitter, roasted, but very sweet too. Great stuff. With so many ingredients it is stunning how such an integrated beer can be made. Great achievement! And simple just very nice to drink. (33cl bottle from Etre Gourmet) harrisoni (19852) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 3, 2017
Bottle from Reading BF 2017 and drunk at home. Black beer dark brown lasting tan head. Strawberry aroma. Some dark beer with strawberry jam all over it. Yes pleasant enough, not overly sweet. A pleasant strawberry beer. A little too malty dry brown malt. but ok. wheresthepath (2448) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 30, 2017
Bottle at Reading Beer Festival. Brown with a beige head, Sweet chocolate up front with light strawberry behind. Some roasty notes fail to offset the sweetness. Too sweet for me I’m afraid.
