From tap. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is sweet, fudge and caramelish. Toasted. Dark malty. Light strawberry fruity lurking through. Smooth fruity. Strawberry and slight milky finish.

Billynomates solo hotel tasting. Almost opaque amber - brown beer, good tan head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has modest fine carbonation. Ligh malts, sweetish, touch of caramel. Ripe strawberry, strawberry jam. Pinch of spice. Dark chocolate. Chocolate cske. A mild bitterness runs throughout. Light semi dry finish. Nice idea but the bitterness gets in the way. A bit.

UPDATED: OCT 14, 2017 Sehr fruchtiger Geruch. Zu Beginn erstmal trocken und dunkel malzig, die Erdbeer Noten sind natürlich aber relativ mild. Spritzig, rund. 10/10/9/9//10

Keg at Ma Kelly’s, 14/11/16. Black with a decent tan cap. Nose is strawberry chocolate cheesecake, cocoa powder, toffee, sweet tunes. Taste comprises Neopolitan ice cream, chocolate dipped strawberries, airy malts, chocolate biscuit, caramel melt, light roast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. A fun beer to try ... great nose and didn’t get too sweet.

Bottle from Reading BF 2017 and drunk at home. Black beer dark brown lasting tan head. Strawberry aroma. Some dark beer with strawberry jam all over it. Yes pleasant enough, not overly sweet. A pleasant strawberry beer. A little too malty dry brown malt. but ok.

Bottle @ home. A dark red glare coming through the brown colored beer when held into the light, average to medium sized beige to light brown colored head. Aroma is quite firm vanilla mixed with a red fruit, well, actually indeed strawberry hint albeit a bit artificial. Tastes about the same: some malts perhaps, but then vanilla and (artificial) strawberries, weird but unbelievable complexity as midway through the flavor the chocolate kicks in and it becomes a wild whirlpool of flavors you do and don’t want to mix at the same time. It’s a weird, somewhat sugary never tasted before but nice dessert disguised as a beer. I don’t particularly like it, but I give it a 16 overall because I do have the urge to take another sip directly after I’ve swallowed the previous one.
