The taste is slick, dry, chewy, brown bead, oiliness, toffee, cake, dried fruits, fruit cake, spice and some warming alcohol through the finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Bottle at home from DeBierkonig, 17th December 17. Pours dark brown red. Aroma is burnt caramel, molasses, dark sugar. Taste is caramel, burnt sugar, bitter, some sweet bitter caramel on the finish. Taste comprises fruit loaf, caramel, nutty, spice, boozey licks, dates, light wood.
Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi drying close.

The beer is dark amber to brown colored and has a small and little unstable head, with good carbonation.
The aroma is malty, with notes of roasted malts, caramel, dried fruits, chocolate, a little smoke and spices.
The taste is full bodied and sweet with caramel, roasted malts and dried fruits and goes to light bitter with notes of chocolate, coffee and spices.
The finish is light dry, bitter and with some warming alcohol.
Excellent brew, could have been a quad or a dubbelbock.

Heerlijk! Hoe een zwaar bier toch verrassend fris binnengaat. Dit wellicht door de goede combinatie tussen de karamelsmaak en de lichte citrus. mooie diepgang!
