Leighton (22019) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 12, 2010
UPDATED: OCT 11, 2015 Bottle. Clear, pale yellow pour with a foamy, pure white head. Dank, crispy hops, straw and light cereal. Modestly sweet, ultra dry crackers and grassy, lightly earthy bitterness. Light medium in body with average carbonation. Dry, grass and flower hop finish with some light crackers and bread. Really solid. (December 2010, score: 4.1)

Draft at GBBF 2013, day 3 - London. Pours clear yellow-gold with a frothy white head. Stunning beer, really. Crispy and bready, with faint cereal, straw. Gorgeous. Light bodied with average carbonation and creamy texture. Perfectly balanced in the finish, with bitter hay, cereal, light grass. Lovely stuff. (August 2013, score: 4.3)

Bottle. Bronze with very little carbonation. Very pleasant maltiness more than I has expected in a pils.Slightly dry finnish makes for an interesting and classy pils.

NMC01 (70) - DENMARK - OCT 10, 2010
Bottle. Bamberger Pilsner with very delicious and distinct hop taste which differentiates this beer from many other Frankish and Bavarian lagers. Clean and thorough brew. Lovely!

This beer seemed no good at first, but as I sobered a tad, the crisp bitterness didn’t seem quite so abrasiv. Overall, this is one of the most aggressive pils I’ve had in Germany andit’s supposedly Keesmann’s flagship beer, but like so many flagship beers, it’s not my favorite.

Fred82 (2331) - Québec City, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 3, 2010
On tap at Keesmann pub.
Appearance : Clear light yellow with a small head. A bit too pale.
Aroma : Light malt and light citrusy hops. Nice light fruitiness. A bit rustic also. Herbal notes also.
Taste : Malty and light citrusy hops. Herbal and fruity. Delicate carbonation.
Overall : Wow this was a very interesting beer. Perhaps one of the lightest and easy drinking beer I’ve ever had. This was the ultimate summer session beer. I tried it several times and it was always good. Never had the bottle however. Solid stuff.

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2015 Draught in Bamberg. Great fruity hop aroma—citrus, pine. Very fresh and nice. Very pale gold color but with a nice pillowy head. Nicely hopped flavor—citrus and grass. Light, sweet malts. Smooth and soft, though full. A very nice, aromatic pils. Nicely bitter finish. Great hoppy pils..
