0.5l bottle. Slightly hazy orange body, white head. The aroma is pretty earthy, it also has some cloves and banana notes. Taste is similar to the aroma. Although it’s still earthy, it has more banana than the aroma suggests. Nice weizen.

Bottle shared by Joes. Slightly unclear light orange color, full sized fairly quickly diminishing white head. Smell and taste wheat, fortunately only lightly banana and sweetness. Soft body and carbonation. Hmm a pretty decent weissbier, been a while since I had a decent one.

Bottle @ home thx to joes. Slightly hazy yellow to orange with a huge white head. Smells some banana, malts, yeasty. Tastes banana, quite sweet, malty. Thin to medium body, soft, almost no carbo.

First I've noticed the smell of yeast as I opened the bottle. The taste has a strong yeast note too. Not what I was looking for. Perhaps a nice beer to a good Bavarian meal like Eisbein and Sauerkraut.

500ml flip-top bottle bought at YATA in New Town Plaza, Shatin.

Cloudy hazy golden honey orange colour with dirt like yeast sediments; Explosive three finger head with crumpety white foam which last for about 2 minutes; Small lacing and fizzy carbonation; Very fragrant aroma of banana, vanilla, malt, clove, earth and spices, which can be smelt half a feet from the glass; Light taste of malt, light caramel, earthy yeast, cloves, light citrus and faint grass; Medium body, pretty thick palate; Taste profile is nearly non-sweet malt light malt in a very light tart background, with rather pleasant light phenol, cloves, and spices; Hoppiness is minimal, mostly light citrus taste but with some trace of bitterness, Finishing is light citrus and tartness; Pretty dry after taste, very easy to mouth.

Comments: This is a nice one. Through not as flashy and exotic as Paulaner, it has very earthy and rustic aroma and taste like Franziskaner, with excellent head, less wheat and more thickness in mouth feel, and a rather subdued and pleasant herbal hop presence. Like its Weissbier Dunkel, this is a hearty good one!

Hazy amber. Big creamy white head. Plenty of lacing. Earth and lemons in the nose. Taste is earthy and malty. Hints of fruit. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

One of the best beers this week. Quite easy to drink for a Weizen with below average carbo and more hops in the aroma and than usual. Quaffy, mild - fine.

McTapps (6889) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - MAR 19, 2013
Light milky orange-golden colour with steady head and medium body. Nose of yeast. Taste of fresh yeast, fresh fruit salad, grass, malt and dough. It is a very fresh and lively Hefeweizen, not as dull and dusty as many others.

COMRADEJOSH (320) - Gainesville, Florida, USA - DEC 20, 2012
A middle of the road german wheat beer. Very carbonated and slightly bitter with yeasty taste.

Test vom 23.10.2010, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,9,9,8,10,9 - 9,20
