Draught. This is a decent golden ale with lots of character. I like the mouthfeel and the creaminess of it in particular. gowdy (1115) - Erskine, SCOTLAND - MAR 21, 2013
Pint in the GUU Beer Bar. Deep golden colour with sizable white head. A fair bitter taste. WeissGary (286) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - JUL 6, 2012
On tap. Wasn’t too keen on this beer, could have been the tap but I didn’t feel it... was quite rough tasting and quite dry. More in the style of an English Ale as far as I could taste. Poured a pretty near clear gold like body with a thin head... overall an OK beer, not terrible but nothing to get excited about. TheCametron (2480) - CZECH REPUBLIC - JUN 26, 2012
Cask at Kays Bar. Golden amber with a white head. Nice floral hop nose. Flavour has a light caramel backbone with plenty of grassy, floral hops at the front. Pretty good. flying_pig (1572) - SCOTLAND - JUN 20, 2012
Cask (JDW, £1.95 pint)
Fruity to begin with, there are some light floral notes and some citrus fruits mixed with orange and possibly some peach. There is a mild bitterness at the end but overall it is light.
Golden orange colour with a pinky sized, creamy white head that managed to stay for a while and leave some light lacing on the sides of the glass.
Light with some mild summer fruit and berries to begin with along with some citrus and a touch of bitterness. There was a mild hop kick to the beer with some lemon and orange too.
Medium bodied and smooth with a bitter kick and a fruity flavour throughout. It was lively for a cask ale and not as flat as some of the previous ones I have tried.
A nice beer, particularly for a cask ale and not as flat as I had been expecting. There was a nice fruity blend and a good, wet feel to the beer. The only problem was that this didn’t seem to last right to the end of the beer but still a very good effort.
