UPDATED: SEP 16, 2007 Aroma is very fresh and citrusy, with some grassyness going on aswell. Taste is similar quite bitter and dry in the mouth, good session beer for this hot summer! Rerate: Cask Backfriers, excellent excellent session ale. Citrus character eveywhere you look, subtle and rediculusly easy to drink. cask @ Blackfriars, Glasgow. Gold and glassy with lasting head. The moderate aroma is nutty and balanced. Clean and juicy body. Very drinkable although is boring. Sweet pale malts, fruity accents, balanced with a toasty and hoppy finish. ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 12, 2006

Cask from The Malt Shovel. Clear golden body with a thick white cap. Great lacing. Soft, subtle aroma aroma of straw, grass and lemon. Flavour of pale malt, earthy hops and a faint citrus note. Sampled at the brewery. Golden with at iny white head. Malty and flowey notes. Malt, hops and a touch of citrus. Medium body with a nice, bitter finish.
