Named after a local blacksmiths, this beer is complex in character as is fitting for a championship winning ale. Red Smiddy is a smooth, dry ale with a unique spicy aroma and flavour. Its reddish hue, warm glow and tight head gives it a presence that makes it stand out against its competitors

UPDATED: OCT 17, 2017 Cask served in the Doublet,Glasgow. Mid October 2017. Lovely copper coloured beer in excellent condition. strong flavours for its weight. Another fine pint from the Kilburn folks.

Deep copper color with a thin off white layer. Caramel malty,some nutty notes and mild fruity. Medium light body and an almost flat carbonation. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Oh no.
