BlackHaddock (7518) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - NOV 2, 2014
Cask pint in Cafe Royal, Edinburgh on 25th Oct 2014. Ruby hue to the reddy/brown body, on top a full off-white blanket of bubbles. The nose had a semi-sweet fruitiness with a Rye like dryness in the taste. Add some mild spice and subtle nuttiness to the flavours and you are getting there in the taste. Ends with a very dry and bitter finish. A tidy and different brew.
