Really sweet for the abv and oily hops ad up to something quite not quite right. Something wrong goes on

Cask. Aroma of apricot and pine. Pours pale amber with strong lace top. Tastes of citrus but softly - more ripe Satsuma than red grapefruit and there’s definitely biscuit malt to mellow the swallow. Light bodied with a pleasant soft finish with bitter languor.

Cask @ The Livery Rooms, Keighley. Clear golden with a thin head. Malts in its nose, but maintains a small dry hopped fruitiness in its flavour. It has a fair bitterness factor to it too.

Cask, Interval Cafe, Sheffield. Pre graduation. Medium gold off white head. Spicy citrus aroma, some pine resin. Smooth, mildly astringent, then a long bitter finish.

Cask at the Beamish beer festival. A quite cloudy blonde ale - possibly not quite ready. Quite bitter with yeast and pine flavours. A nice pale ale that has some good strong hop flavour. Quite dry.

Cask, Swan & Rushes, Leicester. Golden with a thin bubbly foam. Aromas are toast and light apricot with mellow lemon and spices. Caramel with butter and spices. Flavours are sweet biscuit and caramel with sharp lemon and peppery spices. Maybe a little too much cereal. Simple but well balanced.
