Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 5/8/2014. Dark brown with a creamy, tan, head. Aroma of coffee, brown sugar and plain chocolate. Easy drinking, with plenty more coffee flavours, caramel and a toasty finish. Good.

Cask conditioned at The Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Dark brown with cream head. There is quite a sweet, caramel note to this with a background of coffee and cocoa. Perhaps a touch thin but reasonably fully flavoured. Fairly good.

Cask @ Fox And Goose, Hebden Bridge. Very dark red with a thin creamy off-white head. Itís very stated with its dry coffee notes for its low strength.

Very nice strong roasted coffee aroma. Also reflected in the flavour to a lesser extent. Itís a shame that itís disappointingly thin and watery.

Cask, The Slug and Lettuce, Leicester. Very dark brown with a beige head. Aromas are weetabix and cocoa with caramel. Nutty with toasted, earthy notes. Some hints of blackberries. Flavours are creamy with weetabix and nutty, earthy coffee. Raisins with a dry finish. Nice.
