[Cask at Stockholm Beer Festival 2003] The aroma is a nice slight hoppy one. The color is yellow and it has a small bubbly head. The flavor is slightly malty with a strong hop presence and straw flavors and notes of fruits. A nice pale ale. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUL 28, 2010

Pale golden. Vanilla and grapefruit aroma. Light bodied and citrusy with soft mouthfeel and low bitterness.
Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Clear golden with a rough white head. Fruity and lightly perfumy nose. Medium-bodied, fruity with a ligh citrusy freshness and a dry, lightly bitter finish. 190209 chriso (21656) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 21, 2004
A bit bland, with some green hop character, but not much else of note. Rather thin. This is apparently a weaker version of Pale Rider for those who don’t want 5% alcohol in a quaffing beer. Unfortunately, much of the character seems to have been sacrificed too. Tastes as if it has been simply watered down. Cask (gravity), Catford Beer Festival.

Cask Conditioned at The Anchor, Birmingham. Yellow beer with thin head. This is a thin watery tasting beer with little flavour to speak of, there is a strong green hop to pull it along though, which rescues it from really low scores.
