Easy Rider is a subtle easy drinking premium strength pale ale. The initial crisp bitterness gently gives way to a lingering fruity aftertaste.

[Cask at Stockholm Beer Festival 2003] The aroma is a nice slight hoppy one. The color is yellow and it has a small bubbly head. The flavor is slightly malty with a strong hop presence and straw flavors and notes of fruits. A nice pale ale.

Sampled from a bottle from the brewery. Golden colour with a thin, white head. Aroma of biscuit and citrus. Taste of light malts and a good flavour of lime and grapefruit from the hops. A nice Golden Ale.

Cask at The Fountain, Leek. A clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of lemon, some grapefruit, subtle lime, biscuit, grain and soft grassy hops. Taste is similar of lemon, some grapefruit, subtle lime, slight biscuit and grassy hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dryish, slightly biscuity, grassy hop bitterness in the finish. A mainly malty aroma but the taste is fruity and well balanced. An average golden ale, easy drinking, probably a good transition beer from lager.

Bottle. Asda. Pale gold. Light haze. Soapy head. Decent, lime citrus. Soapy hop. Grain. Taste is crisp bitter. Light body. Well matched fizz level. Finishes zesty bitter. The best of the four bottled Kelham beers Ive had lately, by a mile.

500ml Sheffield haul by D&M, thanks Miles. - Thin lime peel, kafir leaf, berry and mineral notes of starfruit and chlorine, with a catty, Simcoe-like edge. Almost wheaty grain notes in taste, pickled lemon, aspirine. Finish is quite harshly bitter, leaning towards American pale ale, a deft herbal infusion closing off a thin Lady Grey ice tea. Still enjoyable, especially if you live in Lagerland deprived of most kinds of low abv UK ales.

Cask at the Anchor, Digbeth, Birmingham. Poured a clear straw colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is light skunky malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a woody hop light resin palate and a lingering bitter finish. Nice, fresh and very drinkable.
