Cask @ Stick Or Twist, Leeds. Golden with a thin head. Has a light mildly dry hopped character, with some berry-sweetness in its nose. Pale malts are just evident. tombyars (1724) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - FEB 3, 2012
First tasted this at the Paisley Beer Festival in March 1994. Cask, gravity dispense. Clear pale gold in colour with a thin white head. Short floral hops in the brief aroma. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt base gives a digestive biscuit malt with citric fruit notes of grapefruit. Dusty hops present in the short resiny aftertaste. Finish is bright and fruity with grapefruit pith leaving a slight astringency in the palate. An ok Golden Ale. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - SEP 22, 2009

Cask at the Ealing beer fest. Aroma is perfumy pale malts. Taste is sweetish pale malts like a cask lager, grassy floural character too. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - JUL 29, 2008
Cask conditioned - handpump - Swan & Rushes, Leicester. A golden coloured beer with a white head and lacing. A nice fresh hoppy nose with grapefruits and oranges. Hops in the mouth also, although perhaps not to the same extent. It’s really decent and would make a great session.

Cask gravity at Ealing BF 2008. Gold, thin white head. Floral hop aroma, pretty standard golden beer, bit lacking on malts. Not enough hops. It’s alright, no real interest. downender (8728) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 18, 2007
Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 18/7/07. Pale gold with a slight white head. Aroma was of biscuity malt and hay. Slightly sweet in the mouth with a dry, slightly acidic finish. A change from the norm. StueyD (1585) - Heacham, Norfolk, ENGLAND - SEP 3, 2006
A pale golden coloured beer with a frothy white head. A hoppy nose, slightly biscuity, with an underlying fruity aroma. The taste follow on from the smell, with dry hops and the citrusy fruit element again. Also a slightly sweet biscuity flavour towards the end. (Cask - The Fox & Hounds, Heachan, Norfolk). Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Good general Golden. Nice blend of hops, sweetness and silkiness. Won’t blow doors off a van, but good nonet-heless. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - FEB 8, 2006
