Cask conditioned at Moreton in Marsh Beer Fest ’10. Reddish amber with white head. Plenty of depth for a low abv bitter, a slightly roasty, caramel maltiness then a sweetish hoppiness, some lime notes. Nicely drinkable. ladnewton (1978) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 21, 2010
Cask at the Cask Pub & Kitchen on 20 August 2010. Clear copper with off white ring of foam giving partial lacing. Sweet maltiness and citrus in aroma, main taste is citric with grassy hoppiness and a welcome salty note, a bittersweet finish that becomes drier with time and a light, saline mouthfeel. This beer grew on me. I liked it. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 21, 2010
A Mes rate. Cask at the Cask.
Orange amber with a very thin white head. A good balanced bitter. Slight pig farm on the snout. Good earthy malt and grassy hops. A straight down the line beer but a good one. Slight tarty fruit notes. Good bitter and dry finish. Maybe just a tad one dimensional but tasty and effortlessly drinkable.
