500ml enjoyed with mixed takeout curries, Sheffield April 2017. - Thinly spread stone fruit jam on a rather diluted malt biscuit: watery pockets and some generic fruit sugars mar the broth before a decent lemony hop twang kicks in towards the finish. Fine with curries though. jmgreenuk (9729) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - MAR 28, 2017
Cask at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light woody resin hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth, malty, yeast, light fruit, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. sdmmb (1954) - BELGIUM - SEP 18, 2016

Jeg håper dette var en dårlig batch, dette var ille.
Cask at The Earl Grey Inn, Leek. A clear pale amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma of caramel, biscuit, subtle melon and slight floral hops.
Taste of caramel, biscuit, subtle spiciness and floral hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, biscuity, floral hop bitterness in the finish. Not much complexity in the aroma and flavour. To me, a bland, malty bitter with a floral hop bitterness. RobBestwick (942) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 28, 2015

Bottle. Asda. Clear gold. Film of white. Sweet malts. Some fruit. Taste is mostly sweet. Turns light bitter. Greasy palate. These bottled Kelham Island beers are rank. dchad56 (519) - - SEP 4, 2015
