The aroma is floral, citrus, woody. The appearance is deep gold/red color, white head. The flavor is flowers, citrus, caramel, woody. The finish is citrus, pine, flowers. I don’t see how the Cabernet contributed to this, except maybe the aroma and flavor of wood which permeates. Nicely done. (BTW, why is this listed as an abbey dubbel??) blipp (9790) - La Mesa, California, USA - OCT 25, 2012
Draft. Pours orange with an off white head. Orangey-citrus and tropical fruits, with lighter woody and floral notes, followed by a dry bitter finish. Good stuff. zdk (1917) - New York, New York, USA - OCT 18, 2012

Draft at barcade with max, zack, pearl, Andy, Brian and Tom. Pours a hazy orange amber body with thin white lacing. Aroma is grapefruit soaked in honey, pine and othe tropical fruits. Mouthfeel is dry which is complimented very well by the tropical fruits and pine. Jow (4125) - Orlando, Florida, USA - AUG 28, 2012
Tap at the Stags head. Pours reddish orange with thin soapy head. Get light citrus and wine on the nose. Tastes of tangerines, pine, earth, woody, and yes cab. It’s soft on palate and pleasant drinking.
