Tap at Gingerman. Pours a light coppery gold with a thin lastinghead and some lace. Aroma is earthy, spicy, white wine like- pear, grassy, and light citrusy hints, some woodiness with a light crackery malt backbone. Doughy malty yeasty flavor, but relatively clean- some light tropical flavor and lots of mineral, earthy hops, flowery, slight citrus, and a clean bitter finish. Easy to drink and was perfect for a hot summer night. I could have drank a few of these imperial pints. BREWMUSKCLES (2776) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 6, 2008
a different kind of mouthfeel tempered as it is such good beer. crisp and clear indeed. refreshing and very flavorful. generous hop character pine and citrus. strange carbonation that works with this great flavor profile. a bit sweet and still bitter towards the end of the flavor profile. different and impressive. hop spice is great just a true craft beer. bravo! Tap at Ginger Man. Pale golden beer with a creamy white head. The aroma is quite juicy and tropical. Bright orange and tangerine citrus over crisp and crackery pale malts. There is a light yeasty spiciness in the nose as well with possibly a kiss of wheat. Flavour is also great, very fresh pale malts with a fruity orange citrus hoppiness. No resinousness at all, just a clean super smooth bitterness. This beer is just made for hot humid summer days. Really terrific summertime brew and one that I hope to see in more places. I’m glad to see that Kelso is making good stuff in addition to their Heartland lineup. goldtwins (4319) - Nesconset, New York, USA - JUL 3, 2008
Tap @ Ginger Man.Poured a clear gold color with an almost white head. The aroma is malty with mild notes of toffee and crackers. Hints of fruit add to the aroma. The flavor is sweet with a spiced bitter finish. The finish is quite long that slowly dries over the length as it grows in bitterness. Light body.
