Draft at Bierstube. Hazy greenish-yellow straw pour with some slight fizzy white foam. Not much lace. Well carbonated. Semi-full body. Aroma of a Farmhouse beer. Funky grains. Damp hay. Mushrooms. Has some semi-bright citrus flavors. Tangerine pips. Lemon zest. White peaches. Lychee nuts. Banana peels. Green tomatoes. Quince. Sourish. Slightly smokey. Some sea salt. Rotted oak tree stumps. White pepper finish. Interesting. Lubiere (13905) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 14, 2013
A hazed amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, loads of butterscotch with fruity malt and light acidity, strange. In mouth, a sweet oxidized malt with light coriander, curacao, very sweet... Oh well. Sampler at Battle of the Belgians at Jimmys 43. radagast83 (8059) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - OCT 7, 2013
Draft at Churchkey. Poured a hazy golden color, vibrant color with a stark, frothy white head. Aroma was smoky bundles of grains, with a salt undertone. Starts moderately sweet with big smoky flavors. Mild wheat and light hop notes. Bitter sweet smoky finish with nice smoky after. A little watery.

Pours a burnt orange in a dimly lit room. The flavor is dominated by saltiness. instead of sweet or bitter, ocean water comes to mind. The aroma is rather smoky with some notes of nail polish.
