Poured draught at Stags Head NYC. Pours amber with a thick head. Slight peppery, yeasty rye aroma with a taste that has some oak and whiskey. Very interesting and enjoyable. BrewBoxer (2657) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 21, 2012
Draft. Bright golden bronze orange color with a half inch head that remains throughout. Cloudy as well. Taste is Belgian blonde and yeasty, but a little watery. Not bad

On tap at Pony Bar Hells Kitchen. Pours a lightly hazy burnt gold with one ring of soapy white head. Nose is interesting, buttery, bourbon, some cheap pinot grigio, a little over ripe melon. Flavor is sweet, malty, candy sugar, a little canned corn, some white grape, butterscotch. Full, boozy finish. jredmond (8508) - New York, New York, USA - NOV 21, 2012
Draft at pony bar HK with streets and Annie. Pours a amber golden with light haze and white lacing. Aroma is melon, cherry, and unfiltered sake. Mouthfeel is medium and tastes almost exactly like a fruity, unfiltered sake. Unbelievable. Very strange and bizarre. epeter85 (54) - - NOV 21, 2012
Surprising pour with a sizable head for ABV content and weight of this beer. Aroma of bourbon is quite strong and taste, almost like a golden Belgian with a bourbon back. This beer definitely is suited for a final beverage for the evening.

Tap at a market in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY. Pours a clear light amber. Minimal foam. Nice buttery bourbon barrel nose. Taste is sweeter, small tomato paste, orange and maple. Nice stuff. Palate is thicker, spicy.

Shared by somebody at a recent Jackie O’s release. My notes say Thx Brad. One Funky Afternoon? Gold pour. Aroma is esters and alcoholic. Thin body, alcoholic, esters, phenolic and hot JohnnyJ (5569) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 1, 2011
Ha! I finally found this beer. 22oz bottle ( capped growler) brought to clusterfork tasting. Golden pour, with slight haze, and a white head. Bread, light banana, fruity esters, yeast, slightly peppery, the barrel character is faint, rye whiskey, and a touch of oak. Interesting, but not my thing.
