Bue à la pression. Blonde clair. Fine mousse blanche. Peu de CO2. Nez malté. Palais type lager, légère pointe de houblon discrete. Ensemble correct si on a soif. thewombat (112) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - MAY 26, 2009
On tap. Very good, a fresh and crisp nice hop bitter aftertaste that lingers. Well balanced between flavor and lightness. beastiefan2k (4180) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - JAN 2, 2009
Tap @ the Brazen Head. It is not often that I agree with JoeMcPhee but this is one. The beer pours a beautiful glowing color with a large head. Aroma is strong on earthy, German, grassy hops. Taste is similarly well hopped with a nice clean and spiky pilsner underneath that. Its a good pils and a good German hops brew. I will have this again when I can, it was that impressive for a hoppy lager. j12601 (13298) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - OCT 11, 2008
Tap at the Beechtree. Surprisingly good. Very strong hops and malt on the nose. Rich easy drinking flavor. I didn’t catch the metallic note others have mentioned, but the finish did have a bit of an off note to it. nhorween (645) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 10, 2008
Growler from Bierkraft. I’m not sure I’m happy about having an entire growler of this... Clear, pale amber pour with a thin white head. Clean on the nose - hops in the background, with clean malt. Smells earthy in the way a rainy day does. Flavor is well rounded and crisp, but I don’t like the aftertaste and finish. Toast and hops. The finish is tinny. Would be really easy to drink if it wasn’t for the metallic note. Despite all that, this is still a solid pilsener.

Draft at the airport. Amber pour with medium sized head. Aroma was english malt with a little pine / earthy hops. Flavor was the same, but the hops were somewhat metallic. The hops also gave it a little bit of a citrus aspect, but overall it wasn’t very good. I don’t like it when beers just seem like a dry-hopped version of a mediocre beer. goldtwins (4319) - Nesconset, New York, USA - SEP 8, 2007
Poured a glowing copper with a medium off-white head. Malty caramel aroma with some earthy hop. The flavor is citrus and seems tart. Caramel and toasty finish with a moderate bitterness and dryness. mkobes (2142) - paramus, New Jersey, USA - JUL 11, 2007
On tap at the brewerys opening. Hazy copper in color with a white head. Citrus, earthy hoppy aroma. Malty and hoppy flavor. Creamy tasting. Smooth. Crisp and refreshing. Drinkable. PilsnerPeter (3049) - Flushing, New York, USA - MAY 6, 2007
Tap at the brewery’s opening: Hazy orangey copper pour with a thin white head. Has a great creamy body. Flavor has evident crystal malt notes with lots of earthiness. Smooth hoppyness, with a generous amount of toasty maltyness to give it the creamy texture. A solid earthy Pilsener. JoeMcPhee (10129) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 4, 2007
Tap at d.b.a. Rich orange beer, lightly hazy with a white head. It’s a lovely looking pint. Orange marmalade, earthy hops, and a touch of earthy/dusty maltiness in the nose. Warming brings a light sulphury note, sweet lightly honeyed malts front a strong leafy/herbal hoppy character. Lots of fresh resiny dry hops. Woody and leafy aroma. Flavour is well-balanced. Dry, earthy hops and a soft flinty malts. Pale malt and orange marmalade flavour. Earthy bitterness. A really lovely sessionable brew. The unfiltered lager character really comes through on this one. Warming brings up a soft floral hop flavour on the back. Really tasty pils.
