Tap from Fette Sau in Williamsburg. Floral aroma, piney hops, plenty of orange peel, hint of spice. Thought this was delicious. JoeMcPhee (9550) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 30, 2010
Tap at Rattle N Hum. Hazy golden pour. Thick, pillowy sticky head. The nose is quite piny and resinous with a touch of light citrus. Very bright sticky hop nose. Tooth-coating hop oils and a nice sticky hop character. Really quite fresh. The malts are definitely here but they don’t really interfere with the hops at all. As it warms up the hops fade a little bit leaving a more juicy orange-citrus from behind the bright pine resin. Nice, solid well-crafted IPA jbardin (169) - New York, USA - AUG 6, 2010
On tap at RnH, 8/6/2010.
Strong floral fresh hop aroma, like a muted Pliny. Taste less distinct--expected hop flavors, without as much freshness as the aroma. Still very good, a quite above-average locally produced IPA. blipp (9691) - La Mesa, California, USA - APR 8, 2010
Draft. Pours orange with a white head. Resinous hoppy aroma with some fruity citric notes and sweet malts. Hoppy flavor, floral and fruity citric notes, with some light malty sweetness. Solid bitter finish. msante79 (2244) - Mount Prospect, Illinois, USA - AUG 29, 2010

Aroma: The aroma is lots of pine/resin, with a nice hop feel
Appearance: Pours an orange color with a white head
Flavor: Taste is resiny as well, mild sweetness, medium bitter
Palate: It has a nice mouthfeel and a medium body
Overall, this beer is pretty nice. This is my first Kelso beer, though I have had a bunch of the Heartland stuff, and I now see they are related through Greenpoint. Anyway, I liked this beer, a very solid IPA.
Tap at a modern Mexican restaurant in Astoria. Pours bronze with a rocky white head. Aroma has a strong floral hops presence. Flavor has the same floral goodness with some honey. Moderately strong bite with lots of flowers, perfume, and honey. This was perfect with the duck and pollack tacos I had with it.
