3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at a local pub, poured into a cheater pint
A: straw yellow color, small silky white head, reduces to a thin pancake cap, light carbonation bubbles
S: mellow aroma, slight grass
T: sweeter than I would have expected for the style. Grass and flower hoppiness try their best to balance sweetness but fail. Kind of a bland beer.
M: medium bodied, very drinkable
O: not bitter enough to be really called a pilsner, feels more like a blond ale with continental hops. Overall very sessionable.
Clear , golden color. Aroma of malt and herbs . Sweet, malty taste with moderate hoppy bitterness at the end . For me this is more a premium lager than a pilsner.

clear gold pour dense foam head. Aroma american ale yeast bread, sulfur some bitter perfume hops. Tastes pond, grassy, buttery wheat bread, some grapes. palate is a bit too heavy with a light carb. the bottom line: this has an inklings of being a great crushable czech pils, but is rough around the edges. Golden light bodied Pils looked right at home in my Old Milwaukee goblet. Sweet with some cream corn and touch of hops finish. Great summer beer, too bad it’s not $17 a 30 pack. maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - MAY 27, 2015
Can. Pours a hazy golden color with very little white head to it. Nose is pretty light, with only a bit of corn coming through. Taste is a bit sweet, with corn and grains, and seems a bit stale. Atom (2594) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 15, 2015
12oz can thanks to Jow, pours a clear pale yellow straw with a large white head. Muted aroma of grain, bready malts, pils yeast, and dry grassy hops. Taste is nicely dry and crisp, bready dough, yeast, grain, dry bitter grassy hop spice throughout and coming on strong on the finish. Really nice Czech Pils!!

Can from Bowery Whole Foods. Golden body with malty nose. Taste is quite hoppy, pilsy, slighty metallic but also wheaty and good tasting. Not bad at all. Nice herbal kick to it. kraddel (9329) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - FEB 2, 2015

Pours clear gold with white head. Aroma is stale beard, grass, grain, earth, minerals. Flavor is br(e)ady pils malt, grass, cat pee, urine. jgb9348 (6581) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - DEC 31, 2014
Very slightly hazy golden blonde coloured body with a moderately dense, two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of pale malt, cardboard, very light hops and some hints of lemons and citrus - not horrible, but not great. Light-bodied; Good biscuity fresh malt flavour with some subdued but noticeable malt tastes with a hint of citrus and perhaps even more hop notes, but still on the light side. Aftertaste shows some depth in the malt category with more of an earthy and rugged side and some noticeable but subdued sugars. Overall, a decent pils with some decent flavours and nothing bitter nor offensive - so good to drink for the season. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 08-November-2014 for US$2,25 sampled at home in Washington on 30-December-2014. UPDATED: DEC 29, 2017 On draft at Blackstone and at ABC Kitchen. A pretty sweet, mellow, malty pilsner, but still has some tasty Hallertau nip. It leaves a light tingle on the palate. Good.
