BCTC 2015. Pours a faintly hazed orange amber with a thin white head. Musk and grape must on the nose. Medium bodied, acetone, big, soft grape skins, must, musk. Tangy, with long wood and funky acid. More acetone. Good, but the acetone kills it.

Location: Growler from Superstar Beer City, 10/27/14

Aroma: The nose is lightly funky, slightly vegetal, with some herbal notes as well.
Appearance: It pours a clear gold color , with a small head, and minimal lace.
Flavor: Somewhat funky, and a little vegetal on the flavor, with a light bitterness.
Palate: It has a clean, easy drinking fell, with a soft carbonation.
Overall Impression: I brought this down to DC for a quick pre-wedding bottle share with Pinsky. This one is definitely better as it warms. When we first took the growler out of the fridge, I wasnít too impressed, but closer to room temperature, the flavors come out better. Not sure if I got much rhubarb, or if I would know if I did.

Growler. Pours a pale urine gold (sorry, but thatís the color exactly) with a think somewhat soapy white head that was gone right after the first sip. Mild funk in the aroma with some rhubarb present. Light sweetness in the nose as well. The flavor has rhubarb, and is both tart and lightly sweet. Some grass, lemon and very mild salt present as well. On the lighter side of medium bodied. Undercarbonated. After a couple of minutes, the beer appears to have no carbonation at all.

Draft. Pours hazy golden orange with a thin white head. Clean and lightly salty, with faint fruity acidity, and a quick and refreshing finish. Nice.

Iím not very familiar with this style so I donít have a very educated rate. However, I was looking for the rhubarb flavor as described and had a difficult time detecting it in the beer.

The aroma is malty, lightly sour, salt. The appearance is hazy yellow, white head. The flavor is sweet, malty, vegetable, salt. The finish is sweet, salty. Medium in body. Not bad. Refreshing.
