Mildly fruity aroma. Dark honey appearance. Very subtle but creamy head. Quite clear but with a subtle haziness. Hoppy and fruity.

A notably hoppy bitter. Attractive deep bronze colour. Spicy, resinous hops in the aroma, almost reminds me of an APA. Flavour is fresh and citric with some malt. Finishes dry and crisp, but maybe falls away slightly. Still very appealing. Cask (gravity dispense), Battersea Beer Festival, February 2005.

Cask @ Bird in Hand. Red-orange color with bright hops. Excellent malty body with a good balance and a toasty finish. Very nice! Oakes (17676) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 6, 2011
Copper colour. Floral, with berries - nice bright nose. Balanced, fruity, refreshing character with berries and mellow malts. Good balance. mike_77 (6668) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - OCT 7, 2011
Copper red colour. Very sweet, red fruit aroma. Soft malts and plenty of fruitiness in the flavour. Nice silky texture.

Sample at Örebro Öl & Whisky. Malty smell with wort and flowers. Similar taste with a bready aroma. Nice! downender (8659) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 19, 2008
Cask-conditioned at the Cornish beer festival, The Star, Bath 19/7/08. Amber coloured with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of red fruits and some citrus hops. Flavour had some sweetness to start, with fruity malts and a long, complex aftertaste of oranges, crystallised fruit and comforting bitterness. Very good. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - NOV 10, 2009
Cask conditioned handpump Coach & Horses Wellingborough An amber to deep brown coloured beer with a whitish head and lacing. A bready malty aroma which follows through into the mouth where there are also fruity flavours. Nice vinuous notes. Has nice sweet notes and is tasty.

Beer Festival, London. Quite a fruit bitter, with hints of melony tropical fruit and citrus. Some toffee maltyness in there aswell. Very nice easy drinking pint. Lightly sweet to start, but finishes relatively dry, tasty.
A Mes rate:
Battersea Beer Fest 2006. Ususal hoppy, citric and floral notes as you would expect but I detected some clear sweetness in it which no one else seems to have noted. For me it was all about the finish with this one. A tiny hint of sugar and alcohol that left me really satisfied. Not an amazing beer but it just finished really well.
