COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a semi hazy amber to brown with a yellowish beige head and an aroma of toffee, roasted malts, spices, ripe fruits and cocoa. The taste is medium sweet with a rroasty and bitter finish. Not really standing out.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Dark brown with an off-white head. Malty aroma with some dried fruits and a hint of roasted malts. Sweet bitter taste and a thick body. A more than decent Belgian dubbel.

ThirstyBird (2967) - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 3, 2017
Thanks to Hertie for sharing the bottle! Pours a brown color with orange highlights and a tan head. The smell is yeast, cardboard, dark malt - smells one dimensional. The taste is sweet dark malt, dark fruit, some sourness ending dry. Active carbonation with light/medium body.

zacgillbanks (5356) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - DEC 30, 2016
Bottle from Beer Shop, Gent. Cloudy dark amber in colour with a very thick white head. It has a spicy, tart red fruity flavour with candy sugar notes and a warming toffee apple finish. Not bad but a bit rough around the edges.

Pleasant hoppy beer, too bad it’s a bit thin (when that final gush of yeast is approving the flavor you know it is), looks beautiful reddish brown though with a nice thick head.
