15cl sample @ ZBF’12.
Dorée brumeuse, col beige.
Arôme fruité houblonné, note de levure, le palais est sec, houblonné sur ce profile bien belge, citronné, aspect de dry-hopping. JorisPPattyn (10005) - Ursel, BELGIUM - AUG 7, 2012
Small white head over big-bubbled metallic-orange beer. Bit creamy nose, even a point of vanillacream, like diary... white candi sugar? Sulphur, putteke, citrus. As to hops??? Bitterish, somewhat hoppy, but also lots of citrus; honey, sweet malts, and a tad oxydized. Strange, as the BBD gives it another 8 months. I’m guessing some coriander amongst the citrus. Quite slick, undercarbonated, medium bodied at least. Sulphur/decay returns in the aftertaste. Well... this is a very minor Wotan, for sure. Seriously, big bubbles, sulphur, oxydation, decay... there’s something wrong here. MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - JAN 31, 2013
(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Slightly yeasty, buttery malty aroma with light notes of citric hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a rather tame carbonation. Yeasty malty taste with drying subtle fruity hops; moderately dry and slightly bitter finish with mildly fruity hops. Not really convincing. 19.I.13 77ships (9834) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAY 1, 2012

A bit cloudy yellowish beer, small white head, unstable, non adhesive. aroma: bit yeasty, dry, little metallic, dairy, dusty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: some citrus, bitter hops, little metallic, yeast is very present, some grapefruit, little sweet. Aftertaste: very bitter, metallic, little fruity. It’s hoppy alright, but it lacks some complexity, maybe a malty back bone.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Gastropub Tuulensuu, 20130810) The beer poured pale golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness and hint of hops. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were hops, fruitiness, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. Overall feeling of the beer was a bit musty but still it was quite nice to drink.
