33cl bottle. pours a hazy straw yellow with fine--pored generous head, not the only qualities it has in common with Duvel. Tasty is both fresh green apple peel, faint citrus and a distinct unpasteurised eggwhite aroma. Hard to distinguish the amount, let alone all sorts of the 5 hops used, but they cannot all be belgian. Most are crisp, grassy and imparting shy lemon peel notes, but I’d swear there is Citra in it too. Dry, rather light and crisp mouthfeel. Straightforward pale/pilsner malt structure, one-dimensional. Thankfully lowish ABV for a Belgian ale, hence extra points for helping to found a long-due nouvelle vague of sessionale tasteful ales to add some lighter alternatives to Duvel&Co wallops.

ruigo (3088) - PORTUGAL - DEC 25, 2014
33cl bottle @ The Capital. Slightly hazy orangish yellow colour with a generous white head. Hoppy, sour, yeast, grassy and fruity aroma. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is funky, with some sour notes and quite dry. Overall, a strange beer that probably I will repeat to check if there was not a slight contamination on it.
