Tasted at Beerfestival in Hasselt and was pleasently surprised. Strawyellow colour, very little head. Tastes somewhat in beteween a regular blond belgian ale and a typical hoppy beer. Taste is very refreshing and citrussy with a hoppy aftertatse in the mouth. Would be an ideal beer to drnk on a hot summer day. Jerre (3800) - Waregem, BELGIUM - MAY 31, 2015

33cl bottle. pours a hazy straw yellow with fine--pored generous head, not the only qualities it has in common with Duvel. Tasty is both fresh green apple peel, faint citrus and a distinct unpasteurised eggwhite aroma. Hard to distinguish the amount, let alone all sorts of the 5 hops used, but they cannot all be belgian. Most are crisp, grassy and imparting shy lemon peel notes, but I’d swear there is Citra in it too. Dry, rather light and crisp mouthfeel. Straightforward pale/pilsner malt structure, one-dimensional. Thankfully lowish ABV for a Belgian ale, hence extra points for helping to found a long-due nouvelle vague of sessionale tasteful ales to add some lighter alternatives to Duvel&Co wallops. Swaroga (2223) - Warszawa, POLAND - NOV 30, 2013
33cl bottle. Clear golden/yellow with big head.
NOSE : moderately intensive aromas of fresh yeast and hops like peach, citrus zest, soap. Sweet cereals, lactic aromas.
SIP : creamy with decent carbonation. Sweet cereal start with fruity and soapy background. Gets for a moment acidic but transforms quickly into dry and bitter flavors like lemon seed. The bitterness goes deeper in the finish and even more in the aftertaste. Interesting how it evolves. After couple of sips the bitterness getting more and more strong.
OVERALL : interesting beer. Hop aromas are moderate but the bitterness is deep and getting stronger with every sip. It really pushes me to take another sip to get some of that malt sweetness but since it gets more bitter each time I have to accelerate with my sips. Nice. Patjeadam (158) - NETHERLANDS - JAN 7, 2014
Bitter, small hop punches, if you think orval is bitter, then expect much more. Good to drink a couple of them in a row!

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2016 Geen al te lekker aroma. Beetje scherp in de neus. Heel gistig zelfs beetje zurig. Went op den duur wel alleen in het begin is het even schrikken. Bier smaakt gelukkig wel beter. Smaken van hooi, gist (brettanomyces?), hop, kandijsuiker. Goeie licht bittere afdronk. BartC (727) - Lichtaart, BELGIUM - JUL 26, 2012
Draft on the brewery’s brand new terras. Cloudy blond beer with a nice lasting white head. Hoppy aroma and taste. A bit citric, also some yeast and malts. Not very bitter but still a good refreshing beer.
