Bottle from Belgisk Bryg. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour of alcohol, spice, fruit and hops. rosenbergh (11759) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 24, 2011
330 ml bottle. The Hague, the Netherlands. Brandman (2963) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 22, 2011
Cloudy golden colour with small white head.
Belgian yeast, caramel sweetness, butterscotch, mild fruitiness and spices in aroma. Mild hoppy bitterness, spices, malt and dry yeastiness in flavour. Not bad at all.
Hazy yellow body, white head. Aroma of fruity hops and yeast. Some candy and wheaty malt. Flavour is harsh, metallic with spices - ginger, pepper and cinnamon. Not balanced. robklg (13) - Enschede, NETHERLANDS - SEP 9, 2011
Hazy golden color... I was overwhelmed by the smell.. it’s very rich and abundant, but very inviting... and then the taste.... first-sip impression: great balance and complex.. the alcohol seemed camouflaged, though that’s explained by it’s 7,5 percentage... Bottle @ home. Another abbey tripel with the standard hazy yellow / golden color (not bad, just getting a little tired of it). White head. Smell yeast and slightly spicy. Actually wanted to give aroma 6,5 and taste 7,5 but unfortunately that’s not possible. Taste sweet, slightly fruity. Medium body, decent carbo.

Sample at Mondial de la Bière (Montréal). Hazy blond body with a thick white foamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with flowery and coriander hints. Well balanced taste that hides the alcohol very well. It carries herbal, citrusy and spicy notes. Ends with a decent bittersweet finish. Koelschtrinker (21371) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 5, 2011
Hellmalziger und süß-alkoholischer Antrunk mit schwacher Herbe. Mild, fast etwas langweilig. Hellmalziger Mittelteil, wenig aromatisch. Süßlicher Abgang. 8/7/9/8/8/8

: clear golden/yellow colour with a big head (+4 fingers) that doesn’t stay, leaving behind some minor lacing, aroma is fruity with yeast & hops, bit sweet, the taste is that of bitter hops, touch of grapefruit, it is certainly bitter with not much sweetness to it but there is a distinct fruit like quality to it, predominantly grapefruit but also some orange, pineapple & yeast, with a touch of spices, body is medium, carbonation is medium as well, this is somewhat above average within the style but not the best, still certainly not bad
Enjoyably decent tripel. Rises slightly above most of the other players in this class. cucuma (89) - kontich, BELGIUM - FEB 8, 2011
4 grains used: malted barley, malted wheat, common oat and corn. No sugar added.
7,5% alc vol.
Brewers gold for bitterness and styrian for a fruity hoparoma.
Nice foamy head.
