BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - JUL 28, 2008
33cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex, balanced, cloudy, rocky head, good brew

yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 7, 2008
Bottle at the Belgian Embassy in Oslo. Looking nice in the glass, with a hazy, orange body and an off-white head. There was a lovely spiced aroma, with malt and some hops blending nicely in. Quite spiced for a tripel I think, but lovely. The spices weren’t that evident in the mouth, which also was nice, but more on the malty side, with pale malt and a fruity touch. Some hops giving bitterness as well. Effervescent, full-bodied mouthfeel, and a lasting, spiced and quite bitter finish. Yummy! (080410)

Beer5000 (6489) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 30, 2008
330 ml bottle. Slightly hazy golden body with a big white head. Aroma is fruity, yeast, a bit spicy and quite sweet. Flavor is sweet, malty, a bit spicy, some hops and hints of alcohol. Refreshing even as it is quite sweet, well made.

Rune (12777) - Tromsø, NORWAY - APR 16, 2008
Rocky, white head solid resting over a cloudy, light orange body. Fresh grassy nose added a touch of yeast. Spicy and sweet taste containing herbs, fruity hops and brown sugar. Oily texture. Brings a kind of summer feeling (BBF, Oslo 10.04.2008).

OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 14, 2008
Bottle. A hazy golden yellow beer with a firm near-white head. Rather low aroma level, but still complex with accents of sweet citrus, tropical, spices, cookies and yeast. Taste is on the sweet side, malt-sweetness and sweet fruitiness. Well spiced with notes of alcohol. Dries up towards the end. Good body. Sweetish and light acidic finish. Nice.

SHIG (4962) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - APR 4, 2008
Bottle: Poured a golden color with a huge fluffy lasting head. The aroma is light fruit. Taste filled with bitter fruit and spices that make this beer jump off the palate.

Mklein818 (172) - Etterbeek, Virginia, BELGIUM - MAR 28, 2008
A quirky but very interesting tripel--great color, a bit of spiciness and fruitiness balanced with a touch of acidity. Not as strong as most tripels at only 7.5, but an immensely flavorful brew.

MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAR 18, 2008
ZBF08. Spicy aroma. Hazy golden colour. Small creamy white head. Spicy flavour with a little alcohol. Harmonious and good.

yespr (45447) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAR 9, 2008
ZBF2008: From tap. Pours slight hazy yellow with a dense white head. Mild orange and coriander spiced aroma. Flavour is mellow yeasty, light spiced and with a touch of orange and coriander. Smooth and almost creamy brew. Mild lingering spiced finish.

Skinnyviking (9570) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 9, 2008
Draught. Small and quickly disappearing white head. Clear golden body. Aroma a little bit sour. Flavor fruity and sweet in spite of the high alcohol percentage. Low carbonation. Long sweet aftertaste.
