Well the last bottle I had about a year ago was totally infected drain pour :( When this was fresh it was awesome with lots of coffee grinds and roast with a nice coconut finish. DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 2, 2012
12oz bottle, $7 from Dutch’s bottle shop. Very dark brown color, a minimal brown head. Light, smooth carbonation, nice roasty aftertaste. Really interesting, complex, and deep aroma. Some clarity. Great aroma... Awesome but not overpowering coffee, some sweet roastiness, and some other stuff in there... Very tasty and drinkable brew. I wish I had much more of this ( I’m envious of the collaborators [as I picture them] drinking this stuff by the case, as they enjoy the beautiful Maui weather ). Roasty sweet taste, with some good coffee bitterness. Another fantastic Stone collaboration. A six-pack of this stuff would be what dreams are made of. chibuck (3521) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 1, 2012
bottle... drank right after the bourbon version... turning infected quickly but strangely I liked it a touch better the ba, nice dark sour with a coconut backbone 5000 (6900) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - NOV 26, 2011
Bottle:   Nearly black, super dark brown, moderate to large beige head frothy, nice lacing.   Sweet
roasted malt nose, slight coconut and cocoa.   Sweet nutty caramel infused cocoa and coconut chocolate goodness on
the tongue.   This is quite tasty.   Hop aspect is low.   Sweet start, coconut and cocoa, has a bit more
hop bite on the backside.   Not heavy, not light, feels just right.   Has a smidgen of chocolate covered
cherries at the exit, at least the sweet bits within a chocolate covered cherry.   Very slight alcohol presense.
Pretty good stuff! GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - NOV 26, 2011
Bottle shared by Mike. Poured a nearly opaque dark brown color with a tan head. Coconut, coffee, cocoa, and brown sugar smells. Medium bodied and slightly sweet with moderate carbonation. Coconut, vanilla, chocolate, and roasted nut flavors.

Bottle from summer secret santa (ragesaq). Pours dark brown with tan head. Aromas of chocolate, coconut, coffee, roasted malts and vanilla with some nuttiness. Similar flavors. Very tasty. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Thanks Aaron. johnnnniee (4457) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 27, 2011
Finally found one of these elusive creatures, but pricey at 9 dollars for a 12 oz bottle.
Pours a solid black with a two finger mocha head that slowly dissipates to a cap. Smells of fudge, chocolate and coffee mostly. Slight dark fruit in the background. Traces of vanilla and alcohol round out the nose. I don’t pick up any coconut or macadamia in the aroma. Taste is coffee and dark chocolate up front, bitter roast that melds into coconut, finishing semi dry with a long lingering roasted grain and coconut finish. Creamy sticky mouthfeel, thick body with a semi dry finish, light carbonation. I really enjoyed this one. I was a little nervous because I really hate coconut, but its subtle enough in here that I could actually appreciate it and I think it works really well.

Fuck, the name of this beer is a mouthful. Bottle thanks to atom. Brown in color with some burgundy highlights. Small khaki head. Nuts are the strong aroma up front with some toasted coconut also being present. Roasted malt character gives this a slight roast coffee aroma, too. Taste is sweet like toffee, slight coconut, nuts, and boozy warmth round this out. The strength of the booze in the finish is a bit off putting even after drinking some Angel’s Share before this. It just seems a little out of place in this beer. Full bodied, and fairly thick. mtjoseph (244) - Murderapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 23, 2011
12oz bottle. Pours a dark brown with some jet black highlights and an off white head. Big aroma consisting of chocolate, coconut, molasses, nuts, roasted malt, and a tad of coffee. The carbonation is on the softer side of things, which allows some of silk to become apparent on the body. Upfront, is some sweet, yet dry, roasted malt followed by some toasty coconut, toffee, lactose(?), and burnt sugar. Nice aroma, decent mouth feel, all around solid. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - MAY 20, 2011
bottle, huge chocolately. nutty aroma, that fills the senses. Huge delicious aroma that leads to this amazing flavor that this beer posesses. Milk chocolate, nuts, mild roastiness, medium mouthfeel. Awesome porter, would love to try on draft
