Spicy sweet caramel on the nose...nice bronzy red color. Sweet raisin taste with a hint of some hops. Nice easy fall drinker.
Growler, slightly hazy amber beer, a little white head faded. Aroma is malty, with some dried fruit. Taste is sweet caramely malt, anise, dried fruit and a little roastyness. Palate is rich, carbonation soft and subdued. savnac (2391) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - OCT 21, 2012
Growler. Clear amber brown with a fizzy off white head. Aroma of caramel, toast, butter and prunes. Flavor is lots of fruity yeast esters, sweet caramel and raisins and light alcohol. Medium body with a syrupy mouth feel. I’m not a big fan of this one, just too sweet for me and not balanced. SHIG (4964) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - OCT 13, 2012
Growler: Poured a reddish copper with a thin off white head. Aroma is sweet caramel malts. Taste is sweet candy caramel malt, slight bitter and loads of boozy fruit alcohol. Makes me feel like its the holiday season AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - JAN 28, 2010
