COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bonne Faim is a Belgian Tripel with a lovely rose gold hue coming from the locally procured hibiscus (thanks Carlos House of Spice!). It’s got strawberry notes and a lingering fruit flavour from the yeast while still maintaining a refreshing ale character.

Growler from the Summerhill LCBO. Pours a clear slightly pinkish golden colour with moderate-sized white head. Aroma is tree fruit, bread, light berry and light spice. Flavour has apple, more assertive berry, bread and light spice that I suppose could be hibiscus. Carbonation on the livelier side. Nice.

[9920-20171222] Tap. Golden toasted malt aroma. Clear, golden orange body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Bitter toasted straw grains and sweet corn flavour. Medium body. Average. (6/3/6/3/13) 3.1

2017-12-22. Crisp golden body, small beige head. 3+ Aroma is a touch mild, biscuity malt, muted. Flavour has similar lightly toasty biscuity malt core, touch of tangy hibiscus that I might not call that if I didn't know it was in there. Average bodied palate, good carbonation. Tasty. 7/3/7/3/16 On tap at Kensington, Toronto.
