Unfiltered burnt orange body capped by a foamy, slightly off-white head.
On the nose it is a slightly sweet pineapple-forward citrus, some pine shining through for sure, with hints of toffee underlying it all.
Light creaminess on the palate, but still fairly crisp. The tastes have a light sweetness to the citrus fruit blend, but my wife gets a lot of tongue-numbing hop bitterness. There is not a great deal of malt presence, so sticklers for balance might be left slightly wanting, but there is some sweet caramel malt in there for sure so it’s not completely lop-sided. I was in the mood for a beer leaning toward the hop side of the fence and so found this to be an enjoyable thirst quenching experience.

Reminds me of an average Oregon IPA, Classic caramel malt and citrus hop combo, sweet finish. OK but uninspiring. SuperTiti33 (891) - Aylmer, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 3, 2014
Ambrée. Claire. Peu de collet. Léger caramel. Belle amertume. Fruité. Pomme. Moyennement Houblonné. Florale. Finale sèche. bunget (1002) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 17, 2014
473ml can. Clear amber-orange body, big beige head, decent retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel and orange candies, a little piney and surprisingly yeasty. Taste good herbal bitterness, grapefruit zest, toffee and pine needles. Soft and smooth. neuromatt (1225) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 8, 2014
16 oz can at the Hart House Craft Beer Festival, served in a tasting glass. Pours hazy caramel with a small tan head that fades slowly to a thin remnant, leaving a small amount of fine lace. The nose has medium citric and piney hop notes paired with toffeeish malts. The flavour is medium bitter with intense citrus peel and some pine. The finish is long and bitter. On the palate, it is medium in body with a smooth, milky texture and soft carbonation. Overall, a decent piney-citric bitter IPA on the darker end of the IPA spectrum. 2014-07-31

Can - Bitter grapefruit, earthy and slight skunk with a caramel back bone. Clear copper with a rich beige head. Light bitter orange peel and a long bitter finish. Not that great. HippyHop (665) - Quebec, CANADA - JUL 21, 2014
Pours a nice caramel colour with a bit of off-white head. Nose is faint: faint caramel, some sweet citrus if you breathe really deep, a hint of pine. Taste is caramel, candied orange, some spicy/peppery notes, and a pineyness that doesn’t reveal itself until the beer is halfway to your bladder. More of an American/British IPA hybrid in my books. Tasty and drinkable, but lacking the hop punch I was expecting (and those 65 IBUs take a loooong time to appear). Niall73 (2434) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 15, 2014
Can from lcbo. Pours an amber colour with a white head. Light lemon, light caramel. Light to medium body, medium carbonation. Orange, bitter lemon, pine, light wood... Decent.

Not exactly my go-to IPA but it holds it own and it is just a fine tasting beer regardless of style. Curious be the smell, leather basement and pine. Not at all your typical IPA but seeing as I have had more of that style than any other it is refreshing to challenge the norm. Tastes of honey, pine, some alcohol and caramelised grapefruit. A nice medium body and mid-soft carbonation with a slightly slick feel help this enjoyable IPA down. Hidden_Pooch (518) - Stratford, Prince Edward Island, CANADA - JUN 16, 2014
Quite a different take on an IPA compared to others I have had. Poured a hazy copper colour with frothy off white head that stuck around the whole time. Aroma was of leather, earth, and pine. Tastes of big pine, resin, moss, but also had a strong caramel malt backbone. Had a medium slick mouth feel with a refreshing bitterness near the end. The malt stood out quite a bit, but I did enjoy the piney and resin taste from the hops instead of the tropical citrus taste that I am use to. It kind of felt like an old IPA all earthy and what not.
