Slightly cloudy orange colour with a good head. Hoppy and citrus aroma with a a hint of pine cones, then some sweet malts on the aroma.Fairly big beer with a hoppy pine cone bitterness and leafy hops with a slightly malted sweetness make this a very balanced but aggressive beer. Good stuff! Strangebrewer (1297) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 22, 2013
can. Poured hazy amber-orange with a creamy lasting beige head. Hop aroma with lots of citrus. Medium body with a tart sticky finish. An assertive herbal hop flavour with bitter grapefruit, sweet caramel malt. Gluepot (631) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 17, 2015
A tan/golden body with a thin white head. Nose is a pleasant blend of light caramel and mixed fruit. Caramel malt steps forward as the lead taste element. Apricots, a hint of orange, and tropical fruit blend in nicely. The medium effervescence and body are appropriate to the style. An appealing, smooth, sweet IPA. Tap at Toronto Underground Market. Deep amber pour. The nose is fruity with heavy notes of grapefruit and light resin. Soft kiss of caramel on the palate but it's nicely dry actually. Softly hoppy but has a nice mixture of grapefruit and some light estery fruit as well. Clean but assertive bitterness. Nice stuff.

Draught pint at Burger Bar. Clear amber with a smallish fizzy/foamy off-white head. Leafy/resin aroma, tons of cereal grain, some alcohol. Taste follows, a bit of acidic English barley wine character, strong, malty and a touch boozy. Solid body and carbonation, longish dry resin bitter finish, a little warming - well done, Brock - much better than the early skeleton versions. I will be buying this.

On Tap @ Milos Beer Emporium - pours a reddish-gold with a sticky white cap - shows good retention and laces the glass well. Aroma is grapefruit over grains and a light apricot-apple fruity tone. Medium body with a nice chew of semi sweet Crystal and caramel malt in front which is perfectly balanced with piney-citrus West Coast hopping - finish gets dry and bitter with a nice Willamette bite at the end. A first class West Coast IPA, I think this brewer recreated Sierra Nevada IPA by accident. bdettweiler (57) - KITCHENER, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 28, 2013
Amber-copper colured with thick, pillowy tan head. Aroma is muted. Caramel and tangerine peel with a little pine and yeast faintly in the background. Medium body with lively carbonation. Taste is sweet caramel and bread at first with a a long, crisp, bitter citrus pith and resinous finish. Pretty good beer, but lacks the intensity of both aroma and taste that would make it outstanding. Randy4Beer (513) - - DEC 10, 2014
Unfiltered burnt orange body capped by a foamy, slightly off-white head.
On the nose it is a slightly sweet pineapple-forward citrus, some pine shining through for sure, with hints of toffee underlying it all.
Light creaminess on the palate, but still fairly crisp. The tastes have a light sweetness to the citrus fruit blend, but my wife gets a lot of tongue-numbing hop bitterness. There is not a great deal of malt presence, so sticklers for balance might be left slightly wanting, but there is some sweet caramel malt in there for sure so it’s not completely lop-sided. I was in the mood for a beer leaning toward the hop side of the fence and so found this to be an enjoyable thirst quenching experience.

Draft. Slightly hazy, dark red-brown body. The aroma is citrus, almost like oranges! Very fresh taste, with a wonderful flower finish. Finally a great IPA from Ontario! jimmay (807) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 30, 2013
On tap at Imbibe. Pours deep copper in colour, slightly off white head. Nice big IPA, not huge. Lots of grassy, citrusy hops and lots of caramel backbone. Good stuff!
