Gamelle Grisette, named for workers’ lunchpails, is our easiest drinking option with notes of lemon and citrus peel. Low bitterness and crisp finishing make this a summer patio/dock favourite!
August 18, 2017 - bomber, from the newly opened Kensington retail shop on Augusta - cheers and good luck, guys! Clear very pale gold with a large and lasting white foamy/creamy head. Lemongrass/lemon aroma with some earthy barnyard funk - intriguing. Taste is light, crisp and refreshing - lemon, clover, no funkiness and not much alcohol - very refreshing. Light body and acidity, solid carbonation with a quick slightly tingly dry finish; I love that this isn’t all that sweet or heavy - some saisons are a chore to chew your way through, and over the top with sweetness. Not mindblowing, but solid and almost the perfect patio starter.
