COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Leavened is a Belgian Kettle Sour with a light citrus flavour and a funky sour bite to it. Great summer refresher with an almost lemonade feel to it without sweetness. Named after a sourdough starter this one is a great choice for those starting to dabble in sours.

[9618-20170920] Tap. Toasted and burnt tortilla grains aroma. Hazy, orange body with a medium-lasting foamy white head and some lacing. Soured toasted grains flavour has a fruity lemon tartness. Medium body is sour. Interesting and weird. (6/3/7/3+/14) 3.3

2017-09-20. Lightly hazy dark yellow body modest beige head and lace. 3+ Aroma of yeasty fruit with a bit of a bite to it - lemon? Flavour is lightly sour, lightly yeasty not quite earthy character. Threatens to turn grainy but doesn't. Just a touch sweeter than it could be. Average bodied palate, good carbonation. Decent. 7/3-4/7/3/15+ On tap at Kensington, Toronto.

August 18, 2017 - bomber, from the new Kensington bottle shop on Augusta. Slightly hazy slightly pale gold with a large fairly long-lasting creamy/white head. Aroma is lemon, oddly sweet malt and a bit of burnt rubber. Taste is pleasant - lemon, lemon drops, that cheerio kettle wheat thing - some alcohol; refreshing. Average body, middling acidity, a fairly quick finish, where the dry-hopping emerges; apart from that odd rubbery thing on the nose, quite a nice drinker.
