473ml can from LCBO. Pours an average size foamy bubbly white head but doesn’t stick around very long. Has a golden appearance. Weak lacing. Aromas of wheats, sweet malts, tropical fruit, melon. Flavours are actually quite noticeably watermelon, but mostly grainy, some wheats and fruity notes as well. Very faint hints of some spice. Somewhat of a tangy mouthfeel in the finish, also quite watery. Couldn’t drink another, that’s for sure. Love watermelon, just not in beer. Canned. Hazy, almost orange. Small white head. Misty sweet aroma. The taste is sweet, but the watermelon juice is a bit excessive. jamestulloch (4068) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 28, 2016
Can from LCBO. Hazy orange body with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of poached pear, watermelon and honey. Flavour of watermelon sweets and diluted beer. Thin body with a watery texture. Light fizz. Doesn’t quite work for me - the base beer is more like a weak Lager. Strangebrewer (1298) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 15, 2015
can. Poured hazy amber with a lasting thin white head. Grainy wheat aroma. Light body, kinda watery mouthfeel. Flavour of malted barley but grainy, water melon rind note. Not great.

Amazed at how many results there are for ’watermelon wheat’ - this here is my first. Can from LCBO. ABV is 4.5%. Gusher. Looks nice: a translucent deep orange with a rather fast receding white head showing some lace. The nose is... hmm... I wouldn’t say watermelon... more like some non-nspecific candy product. Later on the watermelon starts to come through, reminding me of punch. Slight spicy notes even. Taste is juicy sweet, watery, the watermelon flavour detectable but would be hard to pin down if I didn’t know. Reminds me of some bubblegum. Wheaty. Dull, slightly grainy, watery mouthfeel with weakish carbonation. Abrupt finish. A pointless brew trying to attract attention with a fckn vomitive design that seems to be aimed at 8-year-olds. Eh, it’s not worth finishing. Bamsen78 (5336) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUL 27, 2015
Draught @ TWH Social, Kicthener, ON. Pours hazy straw with small white head. Clear aroma of watermelon (yes, this is possible!) and yeast. Quite uninspiring flavour of the same, a little sweetish. Medium carbonation and mild, fruity aftertaste. Nothing to write home about. 100715 Frothmeister (792) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 19, 2015
473ml can. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a good sized white head. From the nose you might ask, "There’s watermelon in this?" because it’s mostly wheat heavy with light yeast, a chamomile like note, faint orange, and mineral notes. When you taste the beer, you’ll think "Hey, there the watermelon is!" but it’s faint and is definitely of the Laffy Taffy/Bonkers watermelon candy flavour profile. Along with that, you get some wheat bitterness, with mineral hopping, but it’s hiding under a very watery beer. Not a fan, and I’m liking it less as it warms. I’m not sure this was necessary other than to provide a beer for the beer drinking market that will try anything once. Unfortunately, that applies to myself. robinvboyer (4614) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 3, 2015
Can from the lcbo. Slightly cloudy golden pour, with a very small white head. Arom ais grainy, with some light wheat, and lemon. Body and mouth feel are thin and watery. The finish is where what little watermelon there is comes through. There is a distinct watermelon juice flavour in the finish, but dont blink or youll miss it. 473 ml can from TBS served cool in a tulip glass. Cloudy light golden with a so-so white head. Grainy wheat with a bit of yeast and bread dough, a little tangy (infection), vaguely fruity. Medium-light body, soft and full carbonation. Wheat and grainy malt with a bit of melon-like fruitiness, a bit of yeast as well; dry with more bitterness than expected and a somewhat fruity/melon and grainy finish. Not nearly as awful as the Boxer Watermelon beer. Still isn’t great.
