Can from the lcbo. Slightly cloudy golden pour, with a very small white head. Arom ais grainy, with some light wheat, and lemon. Body and mouth feel are thin and watery. The finish is where what little watermelon there is comes through. There is a distinct watermelon juice flavour in the finish, but dont blink or youll miss it. 473 ml can from TBS served cool in a tulip glass. Cloudy light golden with a so-so white head. Grainy wheat with a bit of yeast and bread dough, a little tangy (infection), vaguely fruity. Medium-light body, soft and full carbonation. Wheat and grainy malt with a bit of melon-like fruitiness, a bit of yeast as well; dry with more bitterness than expected and a somewhat fruity/melon and grainy finish. Not nearly as awful as the Boxer Watermelon beer. Still isn’t great. OntBeerDrinker (514) - Ontario, CANADA - NOV 25, 2014
Golden yellow & looks more filtered then unfiltered :( can smell watermelon as I pour. Very little soapy short lived head. Some carbination. Taste like a wheat ale none craft style & a lager. Some watermelon off and on ligtlhy sour in the backround but taste a little lemon like. Cans cooler then the beer. Cheers!!! Metalchopz (3447) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 13, 2014
Pours a cloudy golden-yellow colour with a creamy-froth white cap, good retention and some decent lacing. Mild watermelon juice aromas over the very light wheat. You get a little more of the wheat in the taste, with the watermelon that is never too strong and some decent hops in the finish, creating some light dryness. Lightly bodied and nice that the watermelon is not the one that is sweet and gross. Just adds some refreshing fruit to the light wheat which is probably good for summer. Draft - Light wheat and orange notes. Cloudy orange with a thin white head. Lots of watermelon and not too sweet, light wheat notes. Surprisingly OK. KansaiBeerLvrs (5249) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 12, 2014
On tap at WVRST - part of a tasting set. It has a light slightly opaque gold. The nose is clearly watermelon but a touch artificial. A semi-smooth body but the taste is candyish, artificial and almost jolly rancher like. It is too artificial and bring the lost coast watermelon to mind. crazy_cat_lady (658) - - AUG 7, 2014
July 27, 2014. On tap at The Local. Bright yellow with foamy white head that lingered nicely. Faint banana aroma, no watermelon in the nose, very weak aroma. Sweet watermelon flavour with underlying wheat beer flavours. Not too bad, but not overly remarkable. Nice alternative to the KLB Raspberry Wheat (not too many options at this restaurant). On tap. Pours a hazy orange gold with a white head. Aroma has a light veg edge alongside wheat and white bread. Light body, medium carbonation. Watermelon comes through subtly, wheat, lemon too... Decent.
