Craft Clerkenwell. Cask. Almost clear deep red - brown beer. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Smooth sweetish malts. Bubblegum esters, somewhat spicy. Touch of tangy fruits before a dry and slightly bitter finish. Over dry and a bit stodgy but not bad by any means.
Tap at the Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin round off white head. The aroma is big malt, over ripe red fruit. The flavour is moderate bitter sweet with a rich cherry fruit yeast mineral palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. kermis (14494) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - DEC 29, 2014

Cask at the Hare and Billet, Blackheath. Ash brown pour, beige head. Hoary, wintery nose of bonfire toffee, figs, dates, sultana, raisin. Red apple and plum pudding flavour. Lots of warmth in this, almost hugworthy. A nice winter warmer, reminds me of the old Gales Festival Mild from yonks back. Leighton (22056) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 17, 2014
Cask at the Cock Tavern - London. A somewhat classic British barley wine: lots of tangy ripe fruits, a bit of old leather, old woody ship. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming with lots of tangy fruits, berries, some toffee. A fair effort overall. BeerViking (4998) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 17, 2014
