Bottle at America on tap. Rich caramel with hints of roast and plenty of vanilla and butterscotch that at times seems quite bitter. Worse than I thought it would be.

Vanilla and light smoke smell, very dark black with a touch a sediment in suspension...taste is a touch bitter and watery...nothing very good...pretty bold flavor but hard to place what it is, wish it was a bit sweeter...mostly just bitterness

Black color. Thin , beige head . Aroma of coffee , roasted malt and good bourbon. Taste is rather sweet and weak with strange acidity in the end . I was really disappointed by the taste.

beeebon (450) - Cornwall, ENGLAND - SEP 20, 2015
Pours very dark like stout always does. Aroma has a lot going on, coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla and burtn roasted malt. Taste doesn’t quite deliver what is promised through aroma, rather sweet, mild to medium bitter and a strong salty soy sauce like taste. Not unpleasant but a little underwhelming, also next to no head. Rather thing in the mouth. Overall certainly drinkable but not a classic stout

Mild bourbon aroma and not much else. Pours a nice dark color, minimal head. Not much flavor. It shouldn’t take much to find a better at the same price.

Not bad but uneventful for the advertised caliber and abv of beer. Many better to choose from at this price point

lukin (635) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 22, 2015
bottle. Pours dark black, very little head. Heavy on the coffee flavours and aroma, not much bourbon other than a bit of sweet finish. Decent.

12 ounce bottle pourers a deep black color with off-white head that dissipates quickly. Slight coffee aroma. Caramel and toffee flavoring along with some chocolate flavor. Full-bodied, a bit sweet in the end.
