Kentucky IPA is a deliciously hoppy, golden-hued American India Pale Ale. It has bright citrus flavors and sweet floral aromas that come from liberal dry-hopping with American hops. The India Pale Ale style is the fastest growing craft beer style on the US market.

Kentucky IPA is the first canned beer produced by Alltech Lexington Brewing and Distilling Co. and is sold in 4-packs of 16-ounce cans. This format is ideal for sporting events, outdoor concerts, at the beach and other places where glass is not permitted. Kentucky IPA is also available in bottles and on draft.

Light amber with creamy head. Floral, caramel, hoppy bitterness that is average for an ipa. Lack of homogeneity for me between initial caramel, malty and final bitterness. A little watery too. Big bubbles. Ok.

Bottle bought at Dublin Airport. Poured a golden orange colour, slightly cloudy, with a decent sized white head. Aroma is hoppy, not that strong, with citrus notes. Taste is toward heavy on bitterness, medium body, average carbonation, with a hoppy bitterness to finish. I do like IPAs with a good level of bitterness and this was an enjoyable beer.

From a 12 oz bottle shared at home. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Grassy nose. Flavors of citrus and alfalfa (or Kentucky bluegrass?). Decent.

Very mellow IPA with low bitterness. If this werent so alcoholic, it would make a decent session IPA. As it is, it just comes off as underwhelming in flavor.

Une fine mousse blanche, une robe orange. Au nez le houblon est trs prsent, au got lamertume est forte mais courte. Cest ma premire bire US, une IPA dont lamertume est moins enveloppe que les IPA europennes dj gotes. 355 ml V&B Langueux

Bottle - clear gold with slim white head. Aroma of light citrus hops, light fruit. Similar in the taste, some sweetness, some late bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Not really an IPA.

Clear amber color with low retention white head. Aroma has citrus, slightly tropical fruits, yeast and some floral hints. Taste follows the aroma, with not malt presence whatsoever. Aftertaste is slightly watery and not much bitter. Not enough hoppy to be an IPA, but its good though.
