Kentucky IPA® is a deliciously hoppy, golden-hued American India Pale Ale. It has bright citrus flavors and sweet floral aromas that come from liberal dry-hopping with American hops. The India Pale Ale style is the fastest growing craft beer style on the US market.

Aroma is some floral hops, taste is citrus, floral hops, mild bitterness, a ting of alcohol. No real malt presence. So-so.

Nice floral hoppieness in this IPA which lends itself to a citrus flavour. Light white head and golden orange body. Refreshing

pours a gold copper with a bubbly off white head. citrus aroma. Fairly bitter right from the get go. Not much citrus comes through in the palate. Short bitter finish. Not for me.

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2014 Orange, vibrant pour with a thin white head. Quite resinous, pine, catty, mint, malty toffee, mango, citrus. Light bodied and tangy. It’s a refreshing IPA but far from a top one. The flavour and aroma profiles are quite subdued and there is a lot of carbonation.

The hops are oily and sticky. Lots of lacing. Smells like wet forest. Deep amber color, bit of bite from the carbonation.

12 oz. Clear orange-amber with a thin covering of bubbles. Aroma is sticky evergreen resin, toasted grain and earthy orange honey with the comb. Taste is mango, toffee, pineapple and minty green herb. Tea leaf on the finish. Light-medium body has a nice balance but the carbonation is too fizzy. Still, it’s pretty tasty and drinkable.
