COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kentucky IPA is a deliciously hoppy, golden-hued American India Pale Ale. It has bright citrus flavors and sweet floral aromas that come from liberal dry-hopping with American hops. The India Pale Ale style is the fastest growing craft beer style on the US market.

Kentucky IPA is the first canned beer produced by Alltech Lexington Brewing and Distilling Co. and is sold in 4-packs of 16-ounce cans. This format is ideal for sporting events, outdoor concerts, at the beach and other places where glass is not permitted. Kentucky IPA is also available in bottles and on draft.

12 oz. Clear orange-amber with a thin covering of bubbles. Aroma is sticky evergreen resin, toasted grain and earthy orange honey with the comb. Taste is mango, toffee, pineapple and minty green herb. Tea leaf on the finish. Light-medium body has a nice balance but the carbonation is too fizzy. Still, its pretty tasty and drinkable.

Clear orangey copper, nice white head. Smells like pine, the some bready, crackery malts. Seems a bit watery. Nice dry hops, and a bready, toasty malt base. Not bad.

Aromas of earthy and citrusy hops. Clear golden-copper color with a diminishing white head. Well balanced, nothing to write home about, but quite drinkable.

12oz bottle. Orange color, no head. Aroma of C-note hops. Smells like an American IPA. Soap-like flavors. Heavy hops flavor. Loaded with hops florals, some pine & citrus. Nicely hopped. Malt backbone stands very well. Decent caramel malts, toasted cereal. Finishes with a hop bitterness tingle. This is an American IPA, all the way! Loaded with hops character, very well balanced. Pours orange gold with thin soapy head. Very floral aromas but more malty when tasted. The dry hopping comes nicely at the end. Not complex, but very drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
