COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kentucky IPA® is a deliciously hoppy, golden-hued American India Pale Ale. It has bright citrus flavors and sweet floral aromas that come from liberal dry-hopping with American hops. The India Pale Ale style is the fastest growing craft beer style on the US market.

Kentucky IPA® is the first canned beer produced by Alltech Lexington Brewing and Distilling Co. and is sold in 4-packs of 16-ounce cans. This format is ideal for sporting events, outdoor concerts, at the beach and other places where glass is not permitted. Kentucky IPA is also available in bottles and on draft.

16oz bottle. dark orange, very attractive. huge gull bodied hop flavor. Slightly complex. Thin up front, but otherwise nicely balanced brew.

This beer has a beautiful aroma redolent with citrus and hops. However only the hops seem to come through to the flavour which though slightly disappointing still delivers a delicious classically bitter IPA.

Nice floral hoppieness in this IPA which lends itself to a citrus flavour. Light white head and golden orange body. Refreshing

Format bouteille. une vraie bonne surprise, une IPA sans faute avec son amertume et se multitude de parfums. Recommandée

burnt orange pour with off white head. Fades quick, but lots of lacing. Aroma is fresh cut grass and citrus rind. taste is sweet and mild bitter. Love having Alltech near by. Descent first try. Please keep working on it.

The pale amber colored body was very clear, and the pour formed a nicely proportioned, two-finger thick, foamy head. The smell was grapefruit and mandarin oranges, and was very pleasing, but a bit mild. The taste once again showcased the citric hops, with lemony, grapefruity bitterness that was very much to my liking. There was a touch of sweetness and some light herbs in the finish. The body was a little on the light side. I enjoyed this beer.

Solid IPA that wasn’t too hoppy nor bitter, perhaps a bit lite on both for my tastes.

Bottle bought at Dublin Airport. Poured a golden orange colour, slightly cloudy, with a decent sized white head. Aroma is hoppy, not that strong, with citrus notes. Taste is toward heavy on bitterness, medium body, average carbonation, with a hoppy bitterness to finish. I do like IPA’s with a good level of bitterness and this was an enjoyable beer.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear light golden amber color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is of mild piney hops. The taste is piney hops with some malt, fairly dry palate. A pretty good beer.

Nice. Smooth. Hoppy. I was apprehensive as I have had other Kentuckys and did not like them. This is nice. Nice bet color. Good body. Citrus aroma and a good bitter hit on first taste. Nice ipa. I recommend. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
