COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A barrel-aged ale brewed with Kentucky-sourced pumpkin, richly spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. As the ale is aged in fresh bourbon barrels, the sweetness of caramel and vanilla are imparted upon the brew and complement its spicier base. At 10 percent alcohol by volume (ABV), this robust, limited release seasonal makes for a flavorful sipping beer to slowly warm up with as the weather cools.

Pours a deep amber with an orange hue, a thin head which dissipates quickly.....aroma of pumpkin spices, nutmeg.......taste is nutmeg, cinnamon, alight bourbon hint, quite dry, alcohol is well hidden, ends with thick bitterness.....unfortunately it doesn’t come together terribly well.

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home on one of the first nights of fall. Appearance is a clearish amber with a thin white head. Aroma of pumpkin and bourbon, very good combination that goes well together. Taste is also pretty good, lightly sweet, bourbon isn’t too prominent but apparent. I think this was well done.

Pours a clear deep amber red. Not a ton of bourbon vanilla but standard pumpkin spice. Burny booze. Not bad.

FROTHINGSLOSH (8164) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 14, 2015
Sampled on draft at Hou Thou this beer poured a dark copper color with a medium sized creamy orange-tan head that left decent lacing. The aroma was tart, fruity and had hints of caramel and nutmeg. The flavor was bitter, tart and vaguely fruity with caramel, apple and a hint of nutmeg. Medium length tart, bitter and astringent finish. Medium body. Meh.

On tap at Global Brew. Pours a clear pale orange/amber with a nice persistent off white head. Aroma is pumpkin and spices. Taste is sweet caramel malt, buttered corn, pumpkin, cinnamon and vanilla. ABV goes unnoticed till after the swallow when you feel the warmth. Decent pumpkin ale.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear deep copper amber color, beige head cover, globs of lace. Taste is malt that is immediately challenged by pumpkin, followed by spices and fizz on the swallow. Light hops make for a balanced finish. Surprisingly complex, surprisingly good.

Light pumpkin aroma. Pours a clear, pumpkin amber color with a thin head. Pumpkin taste very present, with the warmness of alcohol.

A sweetish pumpkin flavor with a lot of alcohol. The alcohol doesn't burn but it's very front and center on the favors. I actually like it though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma is spices, yams/pumpkin and slightly funky. The flavor is spices, vegetables, malts and a medium sweet finish.
