330ml bottle from Porters Liquor, Bexley. Golden amber colour, thin white foam head and tropical fruity citrus hop aroma. Taste is grainy, fruity, yeasty, with a boiled sweets note, some caramel, and light bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry grainy finish. OK. 330ml bottle from brewery (note - this beer is NOT retired).
Poured clear light gold with white rapidly dissipating head.
Aroma is grass, apple, wine and peach.
Light bitterness is followed by a fruity tartness and a dry cider like palate and finish.
Interesting beer and certainly worth a try for something different.
