Slight tropical aroma, clean amber pour with a thin white head. Skunky flavour, slight metallic taste and some damp cardboard. Perhaps I picked up a bottle that had been laying around. Not that good. lizzard0007 (1) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - FEB 7, 2017 does not count
Crisp and Hoppy with a lovely long finish. Hints of pineapple maybe? tastes really clean. salvaticas (715) - - JAN 14, 2017
On tap at Hart's pub in Sydney. Really like this. Grassy on the nose. Quite hoppy for a pilsener. Very refreshing and flavorful.

Good Pilsner. mkel07 (5829) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - SEP 4, 2016
Bottle from Greenslopes Cellars 040916. This is my first beer from Kereru Brewing and I donít love it and I donít hate it. Quite a musky flavour with a dry finish. Nice looking label on the bottle.

[8389-20160529] Tap. White wine grapes aroma. Clear, pale yellow body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Tart zesty white wine flavour has a bit of a zesty metallic finish. Medium body. Interesting. (6/3/7/3/13) 3.2

Decent. 7/3/7/3/14 On tap at Hasihigo Zake, Wellington, NZ. hawthorne00 (3900) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - OCT 21, 2015
Bottle. Hazy orange with a white head. Juicy aroma with sweet pineapple, honeydew melon, menthol. Light bodied - a bit watery even. Tropical fruit, some pine and spices. Not much in the way of malt; feels a bit empty for 5%. Moderate bitterness. Refreshing. waiake (606) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 17, 2015

Iíve reviewed a number of Kereru beers in the last few days, finding them of a standard that just seems to be getting better and better recently. You know a beer is a bit of a winner when my usually beer reluctant wife snaffles half the bottle before Iíve had a look in. This unfiltered pils was golden yellow and had a covering of white head that puffed up and then sat back on its haunches, remaining in place to the very bottom of the glass. The aroma is lush with honeyed tropical fruitiness abounding. Then the flavour is mellow at the start, building into a chorus of tropicality, golden fruit, kumquat, honeydew and hibiscus. There is a twinge of citric bitterness and a lingering flavour that I was happy to let sit. Lovely stuff. Mrs Jimthechap thinks so too.
Well done Kereru.
